My research focuses on topological and geometric problems arising both within pure mathematics and across various scientific and engineering disciplines. On the theoretical side, I am particularly interested in compact Lie groups, their homogeneous spaces, and manifolds equipped with Lie group actions. I study the topological invariants of these spaces, including (equivariant) cohomology, with an emphasis on their algebraic and geometric structures.
On the applied side, I pursue a research programme on the development and application of topological methods in computer science. My current work explores applications in computer graphics, data analysis, and information security, where topological and geometric insights provide novel approaches to complex computational problems.
Please see the Publications section for a list of papers, Talks for presentation slides, and Computer Codes for related software and implementations.
I have created a video (in Japanese) introducing myself and my research interests.
